The Ludwiggian Chamber of Commerce, also known as Handelskammer Sankt Ludwigshafen is an organisation that facilitates trade between companies in Sankt Ludwigshafen and its customers abroad. The organisation was founded in 1685 when relations between Alrig and Sankt Ludwigshafen deteroriated and the Alriggian-Ludwiggian Chamber of Commerce was abolished. The organisation is well known for providing Ludwiggian exporters in the food industry with certificates of origin, that prove an exported foodstuff is not subject to boycotts or economic sanctions. These certificates were first issued during the 1703 Potato Scare, as a result of the 1703 Barikalus sanctions.
