Kaare Stenbooð (1499–1602) was a Hurmu policitian. Having been elected to the local pre-independence Parlerment of Hurmu, he was admitted to the Order of the Holy Lakes and the Senate of the Lakes upon Hurmu's independence in 1599.
Married to (1499–1602) to Mari Sebulonsdottar (1504–1579). Kaare, along with his two children, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, all died in the Hurmu genocide.
