The JAV 41 Nemesis (designation AAM-4) is a next-generation beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile under development by Javelin Industries and the National Research and Development Corporation for the Federal Air Force of Nouvelle Alexandrie. Designed as a successor to the JAV 40 Legionnaire, the Nemesis incorporates a dual-mode seeker, extended range through improved ramjet propulsion, and enhanced resistance to electronic countermeasures. Development began in 1748 AN following analysis of air combat during the Fourth Euran War, with initial operational capability projected for 1755 AN.

Variants

JAV 41A Nemesis
Standard air-launched variant for integration with Federal Air Force fighter aircraft. Primary development variant.
JAV 41B Nemesis
Planned ship-launched variant for integration with Federal Navy surface combatants as a medium-range air defense weapon. Development deferred pending completion of JAV 41A qualification.

Operators

No operational deployments as of 1752 AN. The Federal Air Force of Nouvelle Alexandrie is the planned launch customer, with procurement of 800 missiles authorized under the Force 1752 initiative. Export to Raspur Pact member nations is approved in principle, with Constancia and Natopia reportedly monitoring the development program.
