INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS AND MTO MEMBERSHIP ACT, 1696

BE IT ENACTED by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Cortes Federales, in this present 2nd session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

PART I
GENERAL PROVISIONS.

1. CITATION.

1. This Act shall be officially cited as the “International Agreements and MTO Membership Act, 1696”.

PART II
INTERNATIONAL TREATY RATIFICATIONS.

2. RATIFICATION OF MICRAS TREATY ORGANIZATION MEMBERSHIP TREATY.

1. The Membership Treaty for the Micras Treaty Organization (also known as the “Treaty of General Membership to the Micras Treaty Organization”), hereinafter in this Article "the Treaty", is hereby ratified.
2. The text of the Treaty is affixed to Schedule I of this Act.
3. Once the Treaty has entered into force as provided by this Act, H.M. the King shall have the power to make regulations via Royal Decree for the implementation of the Treaty.

3. RATIFICATION OF THE CONVENTION ON THE LAWS OF THE SEAS.

1. The Convention on the Laws of the Seas, hereinafter in this Article "the Treaty", is hereby ratified.
2. The text of the Treaty is affixed to Schedule II of this Act.
3. Once the Treaty has entered into force as provided by this Act, H.M. the King shall have the power to make regulations via Royal Decree for the implementation of the Treaty.

4. RATIFICATION OF THE SMALL CONVENTION ON FORUM BASED WEAPONS.

1. The Small Convention on Forum Based Weapons, hereinafter in this Article "the Treaty", is hereby ratified.
2. The text of the Treaty is affixed to Schedule III of this Act.
3. Once the Treaty has entered into force as provided by this Act, H.M. the King shall have the power to make regulations via Royal Decree for the implementation of the Treaty.

5. RATIFICATION OF THE SMALL TREATY OF NON-AGGRESSION.

1. The Small Treaty of Non-Aggression, hereinafter in this Article "the Treaty", is hereby ratified.
2. The text of the Treaty is affixed to Schedule IV of this Act.
3. Once the Treaty has entered into force as provided by this Act, H.M. the King shall have the power to make regulations via Royal Decree for the implementation of the Treaty.

6. RATIFICATION OF THE TREATY TO ESTABLISH THE INTERMICRONATIONAL COMMISSION.

1. The Treaty to Establish the Intermicronational Commission, hereinafter in this Article "the Treaty", is hereby ratified.
2. The text of the Treaty is affixed to Schedule V of this Act.
3. Once the Treaty has entered into force as provided by this Act, H.M. the King shall have the power to make regulations via Royal Decree for the implementation of the Treaty.

7. RATIFICATION OF THE CONVENTION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMON COURT.

1. The Convention on the Establishment of a Common Court, hereinafter in this Article "the Treaty", is hereby ratified.
2. The text of the Treaty is affixed to Schedule VII of this Act.
3. Once the Treaty has entered into force as provided by this Act, H.M. the King shall have the power to make regulations via Royal Decree for the implementation of the Treaty.

8. RATIFICATION OF THE MICRAS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION ACT.

1. The Micras Intellectual Property Protection Act, hereinafter in this Article "the Treaty", is hereby ratified.
2. The text of the Treaty is affixed to Schedule VIII of this Act.
3. Once the Treaty has entered into force as provided by this Act, H.M. the King shall have the power to make regulations via Royal Decree for the implementation of the Treaty.

PART II
NOUVELLE ALEXANDRIE'S REPRESENTATIVE TO THE MICRAS TREATY ORGANIZATION.

9. NAX REPRESENTATIVE TO THE MICRAS TREATY ORGANIZATION.

1. The President of the Government, by and with the advice and consent of the Federal Assembly, shall appoint a Representative of Nouvelle Alexandrie to the Micras Treaty Organization, who shall have the rank and status of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and shall hold office at the pleasure of the President.
2. Such representative shall represent Nouvelle Alexandrie in the General Assembly of the Micras Treaty Organization and may serve ex officio as representative of Nouvelle Alexandrie in any organ, commission, or other body of the Micras Treaty Organization other than specialized agencies, and shall perform such other functions in connection with the participation of #Nouvelle Alexandrie in the Micras Treaty Organization as the President may, from time to time, direct.
3. The position of Representative of Nouvelle Alexandrie to the Micras Treaty Organization may be occupied concurrently by the Secretary of State, as appointed by the President.

PART IV
FINAL PROVISIONS.

10. APPLICATION, CONSTITUTIONAL RATIFICATION.

1. This Bill shall apply to all of the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie.
2. This Bill shall not become law unless it has been given Royal Assent.
3. In the event any provision or part of this Bill is found to be invalid or unenforceable, only that particular provision or part so found, and not the entire Bill, will be inoperative.
