Hurmu Cake

Hurmu cake (Cibolan Saxon: Hurmutorte) is a layer cake popular in the Mondosphere. First created by Mondo Etzeterra, it consists of alternating layers of sponge, jam and pastry cream, topped with a thick dome of whipped cream. The cake is covered by a layer of white marzipan, decorated with six blue marzipan buttons in imitation of the Hurmu coat of arms.

The cake celebrates the particular friendship between Mondo and Hurmu and is frequently served at events if Hurmudan visitors are expected.
