Hardy is a Normandie city in the Lordship of Falaise. Geographically, it lies within Austrmark, 80 km from Falaise. Hardy has a population of approximately 80,000, almost entirely Austrmarkers. Hardy is an important city for maritime transportation and fishing. The origin of the name Hardy is unknown; in fact, the city's previous name in Gralan, New Jookoo, derives from the Jookoo Brothers. This name was adapted into the modern Hardy Boys
History
Hardy was founded in 1545 AN as New Jookoo. The area was known as Jookoo Bay. New Jookoo, one of the northernmost cities of Relaram, soon became a greenfield and was conquered by the Normandie Jarldom under Stormark's protection. By 1685 AN, the city's importance gradually diminished. Even after the fall of Stormark, it remained under the control of various tribes and warlords for a long time. In 1744 AN, it was occupied by the KRM and became part of the EANN. The city remained in EANN hands until retaken of Falaise. After the Purification of Normandie, the fishing and shipping industries in the region recovered.
