Glen Penhela is the first and current Chair of the National Assembly of Klaasiya. An establishment member of the Free Juice and Bagels Party, he previously served as a Democratic-Progressive Senator in the 1st Senate of Klaasiya. As an experienced elderly statesman, Penhela was the favoured candidate of the FJBP for the office of Chair, to which he was elected by the Assembly on 5 Sonnuber 1693 AN by a vote of 68-25.
