Fredrik "Freddie" Demo is a Craitish former-footballer who last played for Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland FC, with whom he spent his entire professional career. Demo played as an attacking midfielder and earned four international caps.

Career

Club

Demo began playing professionally aged 21, when he joined Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland FC for the first season of the CrFA League 1 and was given the number 9 shirt. The 2005 season saw Demo score a personal best four league goals, while the midfielder also scored the team's winning goal in the King's Cup semi-final against Sverige Tiem FC the season before. Demo also formed a solid partnership in the middle of the park with fellow Crait Juliaĵ Chentzansio over the course of the club's first few years of existence and, while no domestic trophies were won after a cup final defeat, the pair's influence guided the team to win the 2007 EMUFA Cup for its first silverware.

As the club broke into the top two in the league for the first time in 2008, it took Demo until 2010 to win a first—and only—Craitish trophy, with a convincing 3–0 win over Osĵätoņ Aztecs FC in the final of the King's Cup that year. While HóC struggled in subsequent seasons, a run to the 2012 King's Cup final saw Demo score a consolation goal against Cherry Trees FC in a 2–1 defeat, but the club was unable to win any further competitions during his career there. Demo announced his retirement in 2015 aged 34, after 13 seasons with HóC, with his time in the starting line-up greatly reduced in the seasons prior.

International

Following a strong domestic showing in the 2008 season, Demo received a call-up to the national team and was included in the final squad for the FMF World Cup that year. Although not used as a starter, Demo played in both the 3–0 quarter-final win over Hamland and the 4–1 defeat of Passas in the final as a substitute as Craitland won a second world title. Although out of favour in following years, due to the progression of other midfielders such as Hänä Zensen, Demo was recalled in early 2012 to play a friendly against Hamland, which was lost. Demo never announced a separate international retirement, as some players do, and remained eligible for the national team up until 2015, when he called time on his whole career, finishing with a total of four Craitish caps.
