The Foreign Sports Talent Scheme (FST), initially known as Project Super, was a scheme used by sports officials and organisations in Mataba to scout and facilitate the migration of non-Matabese deemed to possess sports talent to play in Mataba colours in sporting events. Introduced in 2014 by the Mataba Table Tennis Association, it also aimed to boost local sporting standards by importing sporting expertise.

The scheme has been on halt since the resurrection of the Matabese Atheletic Council in 2018 but has since returned in 2023 following calls to restart the scheme to further boost the local footballing quality after a series of lackluster results.

Badminton

Sang Yin Bo from Daau was the first to receive Matabese citizenship through the scheme.

The last Badminton athelete to receive citizenship using the scheme was in 2018 to represent the region in All-Daau tournaments.

Football

The Matabese Athletic Council has since restarted the scheme to allow foreign-born players to gain Matabese citizenship more easily due to the lack of talent locally and to further boost local footballing standards.

The Mataba Football Federation recently announced that they are currently in process of naturalizing Krasno player Gan Hewei of Pretaling Daya City, Dauian brother duo Denis Gurgobachev and Emil Gurgobachev from Valestir Bahlsa and Zyrkistani young talent Ramu Nikhil from Mataba Sailors. It was also rumoured that the new Vegenese arrivals could be naturalized if needed.

It was announced later that Dauian defender Edu Bendini and Zyrkistani forward Diogo Luis were also in process of naturalization.

The final player announced to join the scheme was Mattia Ferrari from Vegno playing in Mataba Sailors.
