East Aros
East Aros (Tellian: Arosa d'Este; Elw: Арос Каннын, Aros Kannyn; Babkhi: Аруши Шарқӣ, Arush Sharqī) is a town located on the border between Elwynn and Sanama. The northern half of the town is located in Elwynn's Northern Tellia bailiwick, while the southern half in Sanama's Highpass province. West Aros is a village approximately 45 kilometres in the north west in Northern Tellia.
Population of the town is roughly 15,000 people, though statistics is hard to come by as both sides of the town rely heavily on migrant workers. The economy of East Aros is based on trade services, repackaging (from Elwynnese standards to Sanaman and vice versa), translation services, and legal services, as well as export and import.
The town has the East Aros border crossing, as well as pipelines and railways passing close by. Site of the 1681 East Aros disaster which caused the death of 13 people.
Famous for hosting the first annual meeting (and founding meeting) of the Organisation of Red Symbol Societies.
