Pact of Schaarlecht
The Pact of Schaarlecht between the Çakar Empire and the Imperial Federation of Ralgon, Adrestia, Haifa, and Eternia was signed in Schaarlecht on 22.VI.1757 AN by Talal Sayfasad, Grand Vizier, for Çakaristan, and Jacque Yamigawa, Minister of State, for Imperial Federation. However, following the 1757 Çakari intervention on Dromosker Island, this pact was declared null and void.

PACT OF SCHAARLECHTBETWEEN
THE ÇAKAR EMPIRE
AND
THE IMPERIAL FEDERATION OF RALGON, ADRESTIA, HAIFA, AND ETERNIA

His Majesty, Anari'on I, the Emperor of the Imperial Federation of Ralgon, Adrestia, Haifa, and Eternia
desire for lasting stability on the Skerry Isles and Wilhelm Isles, have agreed to the following articles of agreement:Article I – Claim
Dromosker Island is claimed and occupied by the Çakar Empire, that is, as long as the Imperial Federation is unable to lay a successful claim to the island. Any transfer of the island to the Imperial Federation shall take place only by mutual agreement of the Çakar Empire, the Imperial Federation, and the government of Dromosker Island.
Article II - Cultural reserve and administration
The Çakar Empire manages the island as a cultural reserve and administers the island and its surrounding waters. Residents are issued with a Çakaristan passport. The Shahanshah appoints a Viceroy to the island, who shall represent the interests of the Çakar Empire. The island shall be governed by the Prince of Dromosker Island under its own laws, subject to the veto of the Viceroy. The island and its inhabitants have no representation in the Çakari Congress or its central government for the duration of this pact, and shall receive the right to self-governance in return.Article III - Security
The Çakar Empire is entitled to establish military installations and maintain a military presence on the island. The government of Dromosker Island is obligated to lease the appropriate facilities for this purpose. The government of Dromosker Island is permitted to set its own visa and property ownership policies so long as such policyies are not in conflict with this Treaty. As part of this policy, civilians holding citizenship from Çakaristan or the Imperial Federation are granted visa-exempt status, as well as the right to work in Imarru-Lugal and other settlements specified by the island's government.The Imperial Federation shall withdraw all its military presence from the island within ten days of the signing of this pact. The Imperial Federation shall not be permitted to maintain a military presence on the island, in the waters surrounding the island or in its airspace for as long as the Çakar Empire administers the island. Military vessels may not approach the island without permission from both the Çakari and Dromosker governments. Merchant shipping from the Imperial Federation is permitted and all vessels are allowed to transit international waters.
Article IV – Duration of this pact
This pact shall remain in force for 10 Norton years from the date of signing, after which the island's status shall be renegotiated. If, on the expiry date, the island elects to remain under the administration of the Cakar Empire, and the Imperial Federation is unable to occupy the island, it shall remain under the flag of the Çakar Empire. The pact shall then be deemed to have expired.

Agreements:
- The territory will be claimed by Çakaristan per MCS purposes until April 2027, after which the claim transfers to Imperial Federation if possible.
- If, on April 2027, the transfer is not possible and/or Imperial Federation is removed from the MCS map, the pact is terminated.
- Characters associated with the island at the time of this pact will remain under Cosmic’s control.
- Other characters on or from the island are permitted under Arkadius' control, so long as their narratives do not directly conflict with the former.
- Articles about the island or parts of it are categorised under both Çakaristan and the Imperial Federation, and their content is maintained by mutual agreement.
- A successful claim is a claim accepted by the Council of the Micras Cartography Society.
