Democratic League

The Democratic League is the formal electoral alliance between the Sanaman Liberation Front and the Coalition 1660. The formal decision to establish an alliance was made in late 1684. It is the main rival of the Alliance for Prosperity between the United Nationalist Alliance and Sanaman National Party for the new majority bonus in the Llusan election. Early leaks from negotiations between the leadership of the two parties refuted rumours that other leftist parties, like the Sanaman Communist Party or Party of Workers and Laborers, would be invited to the alliance, due to a fear of alienating centrist voters.
