Dalibor Grgic is a Vegnese professional football manager who manages Daau Super League club Thampines Rovers.
Managerial career
Catang Evergrande
Dalibor joined Daau Super League side Catang Evergrande as they were promoted to the top division and former manager Yan Tianjian announced his retirement in July of 2023. He won his first game in charge in a 2-0 victory over Sembalang Knights in his first round of league games. A severly underfunded and inexperienced Catang side were however unable to redirect their intentions towards survival and by December the side was showing signs of failure, losing 6-0 to Daau United on boxing day. Dalilbor's request for foreign reinforcements according to him went unheard and was left alone to carry on. The Evergrande side trudged on January with no new additions and suffered another significant 5-0 bashing to Daas City, with calls for Dalibor's sacking heard in the crowd. A major fallout with star player Gareth Fayle and a 1-0 defeat to relegation rivals Seragaan FC concluded Dalilbor's January.
An imminent club announcement on the 3rd of February confirmed his departure from Catang as he was sacked in the morning.
Tanjong Kutong
Grgic signed with Daau Premier League side Tanjong Kutong Rangers as their new technical director in March of 2024. He was tasked with directing the youth squads of the club and finding a suitable tactical mentality for the side.
Following TKR being acquired by Adam West and his consortium alongside their promotion to the Daau Super League, Dalibor's rejected his contract extension as he looked for pastures new.
Thampines Rovers
On 12 Feburary 2025, Thampines Rovers announced the arrival of Grgic as their new manager due to Aizil Shahrani moving to the DNTP program as their head of youth coaching. Grgic signed on a 4-month deal to secure Thampines Rovers' league position in the Daau Super League.
