Cunaire (Kernevon:Konair) (Karnali:Kunar) (Hurmu Norse: Kunnîr) is a city located in the interior of the Lordship of Lunhavre in Normandie. Geographically, it lies within Kernevonia. Cunair has a population of approximately 100,000, making it one of the most important cities in the region. The mayor of Cunaire has been xxxxx since 1744 AN. Cunair is the third-largest city, predominantly Kernevon. Cunaire's main source of income is mining, like cities in cold climates. For this reason, the city is called the "Mining Engine."

Cunaire's origins date back to Franciana. During the reign of Clovis II, several villages, large and small, stood in Cunaire's place. These villages were called the northernmost towns of Franciana. When the Karnali settled in the region in 1448 AN, the towns were hastily removed and the city of Kunar was founded. Kunar was one of the largest cities in Karnali and an important mining town. When the country collapsed, the Karnali people abandoned it and migrated to the mountains further south. Three families and important temples still remain in the area. After Karnali's collapse, the Kernevons settled and establish a principality in the area. When Stormark invaded and established the Normandie Jarldom in 1543 AN, the Kernevonians were left alone but were labeled Norman. Over time, the city lost its splendor.

When Stormark collapsed in 1685 AN, the Lysstyrers came to the region. When the majority of the Lysstyrers disappeared in 1737 AN, various tribes in the region sought to claim the city. In 1744 AN, the city was incorporated into the Orton Line, and later saw the decisive battle of the Purification ov Normandie. In the spring of 1745 AN, it was temporarily occupied by the EANN. The city was later recaptured. It was later incorporated into Lunhavre, a sub-lordship of Quimper.
