The City Council of the Springwind Islands (Phineaner: Majlis Bandaraya Kepulauan Springwind; Taesongean: 봄바람제도시의회; RR: Bombaram-jedo Si-uihoe; MR: Pombaram-jedo Si-ŭihoe) is a local government that administers the entire Collectivity of the Springwind Islands, Straits Settlements. This local government with jurisdiction of 241.97 square kilometers (93.43 square miles) is within the jurisdiction of the Administrator of the Phinbellan Maritime Territories and the Phinbellan Department of Infrastructure, Transportation, Cities and Regional Development. The council was established after the Springwind Islands were officially granted city status on December 20, RP 2617, in conjunction with Phinbellan National Day and Straits Settlements Day. The local council was formerly known as the Bombaram-jedo Municipal Board and the Development Shire of the Springwind Islands or the Springwind Islands Municipal Development Authority.
This local council is responsible for public health and sanitation, waste removal and management, urban planning, environmental protection, building control, social and economic development and general maintenance functions of the Springwind Islands urban infrastructure. The main headquarters of MBKS is located in Tamar Parish, which is close to the Ruang Legar Trade Center.
