Carla Linneaus is a witch and conservationist of magical fauna. She operates an animal shelter on the island of Murder. Born in 1705 in Stadt Sankt Ludwigshafen in Sankt Ludwigshafen she grew up in a Nazarene household, but discovered witchcraft during puberty and was especially amazed by the idea of magical fauna. After having learned of that these animals could actually be found on the island of Murder, she moved there in 1722, when she was only 17 years old. She went on long walks on the island, documenting the various magical animals that lived there and gave many of them a name for the first time. If she found animals that were hurt, she would take them to her cabin in the woods, where she would take care of them before returning them to the wild.

When Carla found out about the Karmic Collapse of 1744 and how this caused buntings to risk extinction, she went on covert missions to smuggle as many of the vampire bunnies out of Lac Glacei and the ruins of Ashinthael as she could. Together with volunteers she created a reservation for them on Murder where they would be safe from the other fauna of the island.
