After being released by CÓNECT and scouted by multiple Super League Football clubs, Russell agreed on an entry-level contract with Stonehall Hotspur on the 12th April 2020. The deal was completed when the FMF summer transfer window opened on the 1st of June 2020. Bradley soon became of the teams starting centre backs when the season started. Stonehall would reach the SLF Postseason but Spurs would be eliminated by arch-rivals Blackoak City in the Conference semi-finals. After impressing at the 2021 FMF World Cup, Russell desired to have a new challenge and wanted to be guaranteed FMF Champions' League football for the following season and therefore handed in a transfer request to the Stonehall board after strong links to Northcliff United and boyhood club Dragonmoor FC.
Russell was captain of the Florian national Under 21 team at the 2020 Colney Cup and led the team to a silver medal beating favourites and hosts Senya along the way.
Style of play
In scouting reports made once Russell was made available from the CÓNECT academy, it stated that Russell that was a physically strong player who was brilliant due to his elevation, eye for goal, and heading accuracy, making him a goal threat on set-pieces. Russell was especially praised on his ability to make strong, aggressive slide tackles on opponents. In addition to his impressive defensive skills and goal-scoring ability, Russell had excellent pace, technical ability, as well as good distribution, passing, and crossing ability. Russell was also noted as an accurate and confident penalty taker.
