The Birgeshir National Rugby League Competition (or the BNRL for short) was a professional rugby league competition held annually in Birgeshir during its FMS affiliation on Micras. The league involved six teams. After 10 weekly rounds, the top three clubs competed in the play-offs with the 1st placed guaranteed the Grand Final while the 2nd and 3rd placed playing the semifinals. The season spanned from January to April with games played on Saturdays.
History
Despite rugby league being a popular sport in Birgeshir,the micronation never had a domestic professional competition until 2017 when the BNRL was founded by Deniz Yürük.
In 2020, the BNRL was disbanded soon after Birgeshir left Micras.

Star Badge
Teams were permitted to place a golden star badge on their uniforms for every five national championships won.
Flag Patch
The Championship title was represented by a waving birgesh flag patch and the winning team would bear it on the uniform in the following season. This is similar to the italian "scudetto".
