The Apollonian Association of Refugees (AARs for short) is an international humanitarian organisation which was established in 1687 AN in attempt to aid the refugees from Krasnocoria and resettle them in safe areas. The organisation was financed by the Collective Security Association. Today, the organisation is funded by both the Çakari government and private donors.
Its headquarters is located in Koriyapur, formerly Silafucheng, in Çakaristan.
Missions
Krasnocorian refugees
This founding mission supported refugees from collapsing Krasnocoria. Many refugees were given housing and often citizenship in what was then Jingdao. Other refugees found homes in Northern Coria, Hurmu. A small group returned to present-day Çakaristan.
Arboric refugees
After the outbreak of the Arboric Civil War, the Emperor of Greater Apollonia asked the organisation to take in the refugees. The Emperor provided all kinds of resources, but it was the organisation that took care of the refugees.
Internment of Sanpo
By the Çakari government was passed internment of Sanpo during the Sanpo-Çakar War. The organisation strongly criticised this and is looking for ways to provide humanitarian aid to the Sanpo. The Çakari government stopped that and wanted the organisation dissolved, especially since after the dissolution of the Collective Security Association, the organisation was largely dependent on financial resources from Çakaristan. But through the mediation of the Eastern Apollonian Catologian Church, dissolution was prevented and the organisation was able to provide limited aid. The organisation kept the Sanpo after their release with return to Sanpantul or resettlement in Çakaristan.
1728 Khordad Floods
The organisation offered to help after the Khordad Floods around the Adaraney river. That offer was taken up and the organisation provided relief camps for the evacuees.
Florian refugees
Once again, the organisation was called upon. The Shahanshah asked the Florian to accommodate refugees fleeing the Second Florian Civil War. Criticism came when some relief camps were used for the shelter that had previously been used for internment of Sanpo because of the Sanpo-Çakar War.
