1758 visits throughout Greater Kildare
The ascension of Simone bat Erasmus to the throne of Jingdao in early 1758 was met with great anticipation by the Tegong, which had been able to stay organised by feigning to support the Kaiser, but which had secretly prepared for the return of a worthy Heavenly Light. In her first meeting with the chairman of the Tegong she expressed her anger that throughout Greater Kildare people had been talking bad about the small territory Jingdao that remained after the Decade of Inharmonious Regrets. The chairman shared these views with her and they came to a plan.
First visits
On early the morning of 10.II.1758 Tegong agents enter the houses of hundreds of people who have said disrespectful things about Jingdao. While they are still sleeping in their beds, the Tegong agents spray the dissidents in their face with a non-noxious dye spray in the colour Jingdaoese Ink Blue, the dye is not toxic but can also not be washed out easily. After the dye is applied, the Tegong agents shout huzzah and leave the dissidents disoriented. The visits lead to indignation and fear, with many wondering what the Tegong will do next.
Second visits
On the morning of 11.II.1758 Tegong agents enter the home of Ben San, the reigning Dutch of Kildare. He is offered a cup of Imperial White Tea and the Tegong agents watch him drink it. The tea is nice and the Tegong agents leave without saying anything.
