The 1747 Vegnese Census was the third official census conducted by the Government of Vegno, following the census held in 1742 AN. Organized and executed by the Ministry of the Interior, this census aimed to update demographic records and assess the population growth and socio-economic changes over the previous 18 years. The final results indicated a total population of 12,954,071 inhabitants, marking a significant increase compared to the previous census.
Background and Organization
The 1742 AN census was launched under the administration of the Papasso I Cabinet, which implemented improvements in data collection methodologies to ensure an even more accurate count of the population.
The census maintained a multi-channel approach for data submission, including:
- A secure online platform for digital submissions.
- Traditional paper-based forms for urban and literate populations.
- Direct, in-person data collection by government officials for rural and nomadic communities.

The results of the 1747 Vegnese Census confirmed a substantial increase in the Vegnese population, from 8,642,566 in 1742 AN to 12,954,071 in 1747 AN, reflecting a strong demographic expansion. This growth was attributed to a combination of high birth rates, improved healthcare, and increased urbanization.
The results were analyzed by the Ministry of the Interior with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence provided by Sentient Solutions Inc.. The company implemented in 1742 AN an advanced AI algorithm to optimize data processing, enabling real-time analysis and seamless integration of information collected across all Vegnese provinces. The new territories annexed to Vegno were added for this census.
A key demographic finding of the 1747 Vegnese Census was the detailed assessment of the population residing in the newly annexed territories. This edition of the census marked a pivotal moment, as it aimed to integrate these regions into the broader administrative and social framework of the state. The data collected provided valuable insights into the age distribution, economic activities, and settlement patterns of these areas, highlighting both challenges and opportunities in their development.
Although younger age groups remained prominent—27% of the overall population was under 18—regional differences emerged, underscoring the need for tailored educational and social services.
