The 1738 elections in Aemilia, held for the Senate, were the fourth elections ever held in the nation and the third where the nation was called the Confoederatio Aemilia, previously being called Taktwinkel. The Sozialprogressive Einheitspartei Aemilias continued to dominate the elections, although it lost two seats, the [[Traditional Party of 1680] also lost a seat]. Both the Slight Reform Party of 1681 and the Progressive Alliance of 1683 gained seats, one and two seats respectively. Even though the shifts were relatively insignificant, they were noticeable for the mostly static political situation of the Confoederatio Aemilia.
