The Birgeshir National Rugby League Competition (or the BNRL for short) is a professional rugby league competition held annually in Birgeshir. The league involves six teams. After 10 weekly rounds, the top three clubs compete in the play-offs with the 1st placed guaranteed the Grand Final while the 2nd and 3rd placed playing the semifinals. The season begins in January and ends in April, with most games being played on Saturdays.

History

Despite rugby league being a popular sport in Birgeshir,the micronation never had a domestic professional competition until 2017 when the BNRL was founded by Deniz Yürük.
