Hedy von Rossmarkt is a politician from the Lanzerwald who served as the first prime minister of the Lanzerwald Republic. Before the revolution, they were the second person in the Sozialprogressive Einheitspartei Aemilias, and the designated regent of the Confoederatio Aemilia should there be no heir to the throne. During the revolution, this meant that they automatically assumed the two offices and combined them. Despite their closeness to the former princess, there were very few objections to their claim to power.
Before being appointed prime minister of the Lanzerwald Republic, they were a military officer in the service of the Principality of City and Country of Taktwinkel. Since 1723 they were captain of the palace guard, they were the first person to fulfil that role. Hedy von Rossmarkt was a confidant of Princess Emilia Antoinette, and acted as her lieutenant during the referendum for independence of Taktwinkel. Hedy von Rossmarkt was designated as regent should Princess Emilia Antoinette and her wife Merida Vala come to perish before their daughter Aimée Isabelle was old enough to assume the throne.
