Normandic, Norman-Walsch, or simply Norman, is a language belonging to the Alexandrian language family, spoken in Normandie and the ancient historical region of Noordmannaland. The language has an estimated 700,000 or so L1 and L2 speakers. Normandic is the official language, particularly in Normandie, Amaland, Samhold, and Karnamark. The Normandic Language Society maintains the language and regularly updates it. Normandic is also actively communicated to the public.

Normandic could initially be considered a Norse language, but since the 12th century, it has undergone a period of significant Alexandrianization. By the 1500s, it had become fully incorporated into the Alexandrian language family. In fact, until 1685 AN, it was virtually indistinguishable from Alexandrian. After the collapse of Stormark in 1685 AN, the language began to recede into the wild, and by 1744 AN, it had again undergone a slight Norse influence.

Normandic borrows heavily from its ancient Alexandrian roots. This was due to Franciana's intense influence and Nazareneization of Norse settlements. Despite this, Normandy still retains some Norse vocabulary. And there are occasional differences in pronunciation from Alexandrian. Normandy is generally using Latin alphabet. For a time, the Sindarin alphabet was used under Varjan influence. Cyrillic and Greek versions also existed, but they were never widely adopted.
