The Viscountess Cherokee (if held by a man, Viscount Cherokee) is a Shirerithian title of nobility. Currently held by Karmen Jovanović-Smičić, the great granddaughter of the first Viscountess, Karmen Joonai (1619–1670).

Kaiser Ayreon IV created the title in 1664 for Karmen Joonai, writing We bestow upon the Honourable Doctor Karmen Joonai, Conducător of the Elwynnese Republic, the title, degree and dignity of Viscountess Cherokee, of the City of Cherokee in the Imperial Dominion of Oleslääd. Upon her death or removal from the title, it shall pass to her legitimate issue, with preference to the eldest and their descendants over the younger and their descendants, until the line is extinguished.

Due to caste shame of Dr Joonai, the title was suppressed in 1665, but restored upon her in 1669. When Dr Joonai was murdered a year later in the Republic of Inner Benacia, she was succeeded to the title by her eldest son, Marcus Marenai-Eqlarion (who took the surnames of Dr Joonai's parents during the time of Dr Joonai's period of caste shame, when the family was not allowed the name Joonai).
