The 1748 New Alexandrian census is the eleventh comprehensive census conducted jointly by the federal and regional governments of Nouvelle Alexandrie since its establishment in 1685 AN. Conducted by the Department of Interior, the census offered multiple ways for residents to participate, including a secure online platform, in-person interviews, and the traditional mail submission. The census found that the population of Nouvelle Alexandrie is 448,177,096, increasing 5.70% from 1743 AN.

This census marked the fourth consecutive census where online submission of census forms surpassed traditional methods, with over 78% of responses submitted through the secure digital platform. The collection methods continued to build upon the successful methodologies established in previous censuses, with technological improvements enhancing both security and accessibility.
