Road
Highways in Iselande were first constructed under Jääland starting in 1686 AN. The highway connected Nurthaven in Lac Glacei to Hellistelli (now Fenixtune) via the Jääland Bridge. This route, Jääland Highway 1 (J1), remains by the same name on its original right of way to this day.
The commemoratively named Jääland Highway (J) system is now comprised of limited-access highways serving traffic between major cities in Iselande. The highways are built with four lanes at 110 km/h. The second-tier Iselande Route (R) system provides regional road access to smaller cities and less-used corridors. The R-system includes primary (ending in "0") and special routes. The final road system managed countrywide is the Forest Route (F) system, including a select few high-trafficked rural roads.
