The Dauian VIsion 2025 program was a government funded public service project which aimed to aid the Dauian football scene suceed in the near future and also the Daau national football team to qualify for the 2025 FMF World Cup, whether through bidding or proper qualification.

Background

Drafted by the Dauian Sports Commitee under leadership of Commitee Chairman Denny Xiao, the program would be conducted in collaboration with the DAFA in order to ensure the highest level of sucess for both associations. The recent uproar of support for the national team led as motivation for the program to push the national team for a place in the upcoming 2025 FMF World Cup, whether being hosts or not.

Vision

Despite being rather new to the Micras community, Daau has transformed itself into a somewhat regional footballing powerhouse in Eura and has subsequently seen a rise of domestic investment into the local game leading to heightened performances club-wise alongside the recent surge in support for the Daau national football team, qualifying for the 2024 Copa Apollonia and valiantly fighting against Senya in their play-off game. The Dauian government sees this as the perfect chance to promote Dauian footballing culture worldwide by submitting a proper FMF World Cup bid for Micras' largest sporting event to be hosted in the crown jewel of the East. The Xi Bing Jin Sports Ground is set to be the spectacle of the tournament as the newly constructed stadium is set to be put into testing by late November 2024. The Dauian Sports Commitee has expressed their strong desire to see Daau host such a prestigious event.

Stadiums

Daau has selected a 12-strong list of footballing stadiums to be used as venues should their bid be awarded.

Should Daau fail to be awarded the host of the 2025 FMF World Cup, the planned construction of Stadium Pasir Helme will not be approved as the land it is planned on is under heavy external property bidding.

Transportation

Transportation to and from Daau will be organized by the Dauian Sports Commitee and government in collaboration with local airline Euran Pacific. Teams will be expected to arrive through the Kovan International Airport by air, or the Port of Seragaan if teams choose to travel by water. Transportation in Daau such as to and from competition venues and hotels will also be sponsored by the government to further promote Dauian tourism. Foreign fans may also choose the newly established FootballPass by Daau Transport, ensuring cheap and easy public transport for those that are visiting.

Accomodation

In regards to accomodation, the capital Seragaan has seen a surge of new hotels being built in case Daau wins the world cup build, ensuring there be enough accomodation for fans and teams alike. The qualified teams will be placed in one of the many TRAVELTRAX 6-star hotels in the captial with sufficent distance to the competition venues. Travelling supporters are also encouraged to use the newly developed DaauStay app for easy hotel booking and cheap prices.

Funding

The Dauian government has pledged around Cr 70-100m for the project to take place should Daau be awarded the allocation. All the newly built stadiums will be put to use for future Daau Super League expansion teams or the Daau Premier League. The government has placed a non-abandonment plan in place for the newly built sporting structures to ensure none of the budget goes to waste.

Program restructure

Following the end of year meeting concluded on the 1st of December 2024, the Sports Commitee and DAFA both agreed to restructure the Island Wide League program due to teams pulling out too often. The Vision

Regional league funding

The Sports Commitee has completed their 2024 end of year audit by 1 December 2024 and has declared that all teams competing professionally in Dauian football has no unpaid debts.

Daau Premier League

The audit found that despite none of the teams being in debt or at the brink of bankruptcy, the league itself is severly underfunded and the underfunded by the DAFA, thus calling for the Regional League Funds Progam (RLFP) where the Sports Commitee will be looking to invest around Cr 8m into the league's infrastructure and educational courses for the officials. The RLFP aligns with the Vision 2025 goals as it is to further professionalize Dauian football and promote clubs privatizing especially in the lower divisions as some clubs are managed by their district commitee and or under their local sports federations. Seragaan FC recently underwent privatization following the arrest of Seragaan District Leader Xi Chin.

Funding

Following failure of securing the World Cup bid, Daau switched their plans and cut the funding to the remaining unbuilt Stadium Pasir Helme as the project wouldn't go underway due to their being no major event to host. The Evergrande Stadium owned by the Evergrande group will remain in construction as so will Our Sembalang Hub as the Sembalang District council has voted to keep the stadium construction in aid with future bids. The remaining Cr 63.5m funds were put into developing youth infrastructure such as a new DNTP center, upgraded national team training facilities, funding for referee courses and other FA related coaching courses, sponsored travel payments to domestic clubs travelling overseas, a new stadium for DPL clubs, increased league prize money and development of the youth grassroots football in Daau.

The DAFA has pledged an extra Cr 20m to clubs in need of financial aid and players who are out of jobs if ever required to further professionalize the footballing scene in the nation.
