Purple/Gold refers to duty assignments for all Imperial Constancian Armed Forces personnel, specifically for reserve or Home Guard personnel.

Purple refers to their duty assignment in their regular place of residence, while Gold refers to their duty assignment when at work in their civilian jobs.

Context
