Ogimi (Sangunese: 大宜味, translit.: Ogimi?) is a city in Sanpantul. It is also the capital of the prefecture that bears its name. It is the largest city and only metropolitan city on the West Sandwich island. The city's core population is 1,170,321, while the city's overall population is 1,313,774. The city was first founded in 1707, called Ciricia, and admitted its inhabitants the same year. In the same year, sub-administrative units named Chiron and Ciricia were created. The city of Ciricia was once a small city in the territory of Skerry, but was later given to Çakaristan to provide strategic superiority to the Spider Fleet during the Sanpo-Çakar War. Later, Sanpanese armed forces bombarded the city but were never able to occupy it. The island was later annexed to Sanpantul. Today's ethnic population, which used to be Alexandrian and Valencian, later became predominantly Çakari (mixed races). In 1725, as a result of intense investment incentives to heal the wounds of the islands, many Sanpanese settled in the city.
The city has now surpassed Miyaji, which had the largest population in terms of population as of 1734, and became the third most populous city in Sanpantul. Ogimi is now one of the most important technological production centers on the island, and with ESMC moving here, it has become a pioneer in the development of all industries related to electronics. It is becoming one of the most important medium-sized cities in Skerry Isles and is developing day by day in terms of financial centre. The business center of the area, Old Ciria, the old sarkar government building and Misono Beach are one of the most important places in the city.
