The Home Guard of the Lake District, formally the Home Guard of the Realm of the Lakes (Hemvarnen in Hurmu Norse and Kodukaitse in Lakkvian), is the territorial defence force of the Lake District, a realm of Hurmu. It consists of 40 battalions of part time serving volunteers.
