Presidential House is the official residence of the Regent of the Lakes. Between the years 1690 and 1720, it housed the Prime Minister of Hurmu. It is a modest mansion, located in central Huyenkula.

It is believed to have been constructed about 1465, and purchased by the government of the Hurmu Republik in 1476 as a residence for Hurmu's president – at the time Hallgrím Aðalgeirsson (governed 1476–1479). The building survived the Hurmu Genocide and, once expanded, got the Lakkvian territorial government as tenant until Hurmu's reunification in 1690. Since then until 1720, it was the official residence of the Prime Minister of Hurmu. During Hurmu's Storish era, it was the official residence of the Storish delegation to Hurmu.
