Companion of the Holy Lakes (Hurmu Norse: Ryss helgo sjooa; RHS) is the title reserved for non-gendered or non-binary members of the Order of the Holy Lakes. Its male equivalent is Knight of the Holy Lakes, and its female equivalent is Lady of the Holy Lakes. It may also be used by pacifist members who find "knight" too militaristic.

Prior to 1720, the title was translated as "Esquire". A petition had been circulated amongst the members of the order (probably by Humanists) to have this "absurd and redundant provision" deleted. Humanists also sponsored abolishing the title, having submitted a question on the matter to a referendum, during the 1718 Hurmu general elections, which failed. Instead, the Chancellor and Commander of the Order changed the translation of "ryss" from "esquire" to "companion".

Currently, the only members of the Order of the Holy Lakes that use this title are the ažaras (female-presenting, but with both male and female sexual characteristics) safir Miłarna Tarin and Miłarna Seoni.
