Mount Broadshaw Volcanic Observatory

The Mount Broadshaw Volcanic Observatory (MBVO) is a regional government agency of New Luthoria, a Region of Nouvelle Alexandrie. It operates in coordination and with the support of the Federal Geological Service and other local and private organizations to monitor Mount Broadshaw. Founded in 1701 AN after the first eruption on historical record for Mount Broadshaw, the MBVO has quickly attracted funding from both public and private sources to develop the study of active volcanism, with the observatory obtaining a high reputation across Nouvelle Alexandrie.

Prior to 1710 AN, the observatory's offices were located in New Luthoria City. In 1710 AN, the MBVO opened its new central headquarters and regional response facilities in New Luthoria City.
