Mesoun

Mesoun is a former province of Antica and is currently in the process of becoming part of Floria. In the 1690s, the term began to refer to the Green area in Apollonia encircled by Floria, Jingdao, and Çakaristan. It has been described by the Raspur Pact as an area rampant with organised crime, drug cultivation, warlords, and anomie. From 1696 AN, after successful settlement in Sri Alba, Floria expanded into the area but was hit early with heavy resistance from local tribes formed after the collapse of Antica. This was the biggest resistance to the Florian Manifest Destiny to date. This triggered the Mesounian Withdrawal, a government policy of forced displacement of self-governing tribes of Native Mesounians from their ancestral homelands in the area.
