Chryse has a history of several flags. It currently has a state flag, a civil ensign, a naval jack, a royal standard, and a viceregal standard. It has a historical state flag, and also flags of previous sovereigns.

State flag

Flag of Chryse

The state flag of Chryse was last adopted in 1687. It has a golden horizontal stripe on a blue field. It is also the jack of the merchant and military navies of Chryse. Its ratio is 2:3.

The colours are taken from the coat of arms of Chryse. The golden stripe represents the name of Chryse ("golden" in Athlonian) and its gold-coloured cliffs and riches. The upper blue field represents the sky, and the lower one the sea, from which Chryse made its riches.

Royal Standard

Royal Standard of the Queen and Exarch of Chryse

The royal standard is the Queen-Exarch Salome's personal flag in Chryse. It is the banner of the coat of arms, but it is three times as long as it is wide, with two diving golden dolphins (two dolphins or urinant) roughly in its centre. Its use signifies that the Queen is present.

It was adopted in 1687, but has not been used, as the Queen has yet not set foot in the city. A standard was delivered by the Chrysean ambassador to Raynor's Keep as a tribute to Her Imperial Magnificence.

Naval jack

The naval jack of Chryse is similar to its state flag. Its height is twice as long as its width, and the middle golden stripe is twice as the wide as each blue stripe.
