Arvidsudde (Army Crandish for "Arvid's headland", named after the city's founder, Arvid), often shortened to Arvid is the capital city of the Barbarian Republic. The city has great historical value as it was the birthplace of Nathaniel and the harbour city from which the Jingdaoese Empire levied a toll on Alexandrian shipping passing the Strait of Barbary. The city is located directly on the strait, overlooking the city of Naval on the other side.
Founded by Arviður Andelarjunarbroðir (Arvid Andelarion) in 1591 as a pacifist refuge and community for displaced people mainly speaking Army Crandish.
