PP-pop (abbreviation of Phinéas Padolski pop or Pyeongrang pop; Malay: Pop Phinéas Padolski or Pop Pyeongrang; Korean: 평랑팝) is a genre of popular music originating in Phinbellan region of Maritime Territories. While the modern form of PP-pop can be traced back to the early RP 2600, the term itself has been popularized since the RP 2608, replacing the term Gayo (가요), which also refers to domestic pop music in Phinbella. Although it generally indicates "popular music" within Phinbellan Maritime Territories, the term is often used in a narrower sense to describe a modern form of Phinbellan pop that is influenced by styles and genres from around the world, such as Malaysian pop, K-pop, Europop, experimental, rock, jazz, gospel, Nasheed, hip hop, R&B, reggae, electronic dance, folk, country, and classical on top of its traditional Malay and Korean music roots. The more modern form of the genre emerged with the formation of one of the earliest PP-pop groups, Farhana and Boys, in RP 2600. Their experimentation with different styles and genres of music and integration of foreign musical elements helped reshape and modernize Phinbella's contemporary music scene.

Modern PP-pop "idol" culture began with the boy band H.O.T. in RP 2604, as PP-pop grew into a subculture that amassed enormous fandoms of teenagers and young adults. After a slump in early PP-pop, from RP 2608 Valèntich and the Friends-Tones and Alicia Kheng started a new generation of PP-pop idols that broke the music genre into the nationwide market and continue to popularize PP-pop internationally begins. With the advent of online social networking services and Phinbellan TV shows, the current spread of PP-pop and Phinbellan entertainment, known as the Phinbellan Wave, is seen only in Western Keltia, Southwest Keltia and will be distributed to the countries allied with Phinbella.
