Kaiser Cedris

Giles Melang, serving as Kaiser for a brief period in 1577 as Kaiser Cedris I, is probably remembered as the worst kaiser in Shirerithian history. As kaiser, Cedris was erratic and confused everyone. He had Shireroth quit the MTO, appointed his arbiter court jester when he was unhappy with the Imperial Judex, and alienated large parts of the nobility. In the end, the Landsraad began impeachment proceedings against him. Before the vote to remove him had concluded, Cedris had abdicated.
