Hoenn (Sangunese: 豐縁, translit.: Hoen?) is an island state linked by an inter-dimensional tunnel to a parallel Earth and is characterized by its syncretic fusion of Japanese and Western cultures. It is also notable for the proliferation of maju, known out-of-character as pokémon, within its borders.
