The Standardpatrone 7.92 Sankt Ludwigshafen is a rimless rifle cartridge that is the standard service cartridge of the armed forces in the Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen. The cartridge was adopted as standard service cartridge in 1699 with the introduction of the Repetierbüchse 1699. The cartridge uses smokeless powder, made from nitrocellulose and nitroglycerine.

Future replacement

In 1713, during the Lanzerwaldian period, discussions between the Republic of Lanzerwald and the Empire of Etzeland took place in which the two nations discussed adopting a common ammunition standard as part of the, never signed, Treaty of the Zibolerpalast. However, as these negotiations failed after Etzeland joined the Raspur Pact, the Standardpatrone remains the standard service cartridge of the Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen for the foreseeable future.
