Shamal bin An Nuar or Shamal Nuar is a Dauian professional football player who plays for Cheetahs XII FC.
Senior Career
Jurong West
Shamal would begin his career with then Phinbellan owned Jurong West, signing from Daau Youth League side Ubin Taskers. Nuar was originally signed for their reserve side in the Daau Reserve League, however Shamal managed to play 134 minutes of football for the senior side.
He would go on to play 98 games and scored a total of 33 goals for the senior side during his stay with the westerners.
Daau United
Signed on the first day of the transfer window in the 2021-22 transfer window, Shamal would sign for the Oranges on a free from the Westerners and would make his debut in a 1-1 draw to Bintang Lukana in the league opener. However his first season with the club wouldn't go so well as he only managed 5 appearances due to a heavy injury and would remain sidelines for the remainder of the season.
Being highlighted as one of the club's brightest attacking sparks, Shamal was retained for anther season as the new manager, Bruno Yio had faith in the pacy 31 year old and decided he would give him another shot. Shamal started 24 games in the 2022-23 season and would manage to go on and play most of the fixtures for the oranges, scoring 9 and providing 8 assists in his first full season with the club.
However Shamal would choose not to extend his contract as he was on the search for a new challenge in his career, ending his 2 season stay at the club.
Cheetahs XII
