The Imperial Mother is the highest Shirerithian title of nobility (second only to the Kaiseress who technically is not a noble). It is held by the mother of the Kaiser or Kaiseress. Created 1650 for Liv Dravot (mother of Kaiser Ayreon IV), it was held by Isidora IV of Octavius-Teleni (mother of Kaiseress Salome) between 1671 and 1740. In 1740, upon Salome's removal from the throne and the ascension of Kaiser Ayreon V, Kaika bat Gyoku (his mother), was given the title.
There is no male version of the title, i.e. no "Imperial Father" title in case there is a living father of the Kaiser.
