Lilly Saint Helens is an Aemilian former football player, born in 1670 in Graugebirg in the Green who played as a winger, as well as the founder and current president of the Foederatio Pedilusoria Aemilia. When she was 10 years old, the Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen was founded, as a protectorate of Alrig. Because of the Alriggian influence, Lily Saint Helens first learned to play Sport before falling in love with football. Her Nazarene parents objected to the idea of their daughter playing with the boys in the street, and ending up in mud and scratches, and they tried to usher her into hobbies that they perceived as more feminine, such as sewing and card making. Lily would often sneak out in the evening to play football, and her talents were quickly recognised. When the local football club asked her parents for their permission to let Lily play in their first team, they finally relented and Lily grew into her role as a left winger with Sportverein Graugebirg.

Lily Saint Helens played for Sportverein Graugebirg between 1683 and 1692, after her 18th birthday in 1688 she played in the senior team. In the summer of 1692 she transferred to 1. SC Ludwigshafen, which was active in the Alriggian football competition at the time. At the same time she also became active in the Ludwigger Fußball-Bund as a spokesperson for female football players. When Lily Saint Helens retired from playing football in 1700, shortly after her thirtieth birthday, she started to work full time for the LFB. In 1709 Lily Saint Helens stayed in her role when the LFB was succeeded by the Association for Football and Sport in the Lanzerwald, and moved up to the ranks to become vice-president when the LFB was restored again in 1716. Following the collapse of the Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen in 1723, the LFB was disbanded and Lily Saint Helens lost her job.

However, when Saint Helens learned about the rise of Emilia Antoinette, who was erecting a new state in the Lanzerwald later in 1723, by the name of Taktwinkel, she travelled there and offered to set up a football association for the fledgling state. Initially the state just consisted of the small city of Stadt Taktwinkel and Princess Emilia Antoinette did not want to allocate too many funds to the football association, but after the ascension of Sankt Rosa to the union in 1724 the population became instantly much larger and the princess recognised that sports could be important to building a national identity. Lily Saint Helens was appointed by Princess Emilia Antoinette to create the new organisation and serve as its president.
