The Mutual People's Republic of Trondoledina is a socialist republic in southern hemisphere of Micras. The population is made up of two ethnic groups: The Ledins a Slavic group and the Trondians a Sino-Mongolic group. Political power is held by the Mutual People's Front led by the Worker's Party of Trondoledina.

Politics

The Mutual People's Republic of Trondoledina is a Marxist-Leninist state. Most political power is held by the Worker's Party of Trondoledina (WPTL) and the Mutual People's Front (TPF) comprising of mass organizations and minor political parties. All high level positions are cooperative with both ethnic groups represented. Policy creation can begin in local people's councils, mass organizations and minor parties or the Worker's Party of Trondoledina.

Local People's Council

Local People's Councils are the lowest level of government in Trondoledina. Councils are formed by members of a workplace, mass organization, or neighborhood under the guidance of the Workers' Party of Trondoledina. The minimum size of a people's council is 50 members. Councils consist of volunteers, local leaders of mass organizations, low level members of the WPTL and minor political parties. Councils are responsible for the daily operations of the place they are established in. Councils also nominate candidates for the local people's assemblies.

Local People's Assembly

People's assemblies are the legislative bodies of provinces. Members are first nominated by LPCs and approved by ballot. LPAs are in charge of applying national policy to their province or creating local policy. The majority political party in all councils is the Workers Party of Trondoledina.

Grand Assembly of People's Power

The Grand Assembly of People's Power is the highest legislative body of Trondoledina. The GAPP has the power to propose, debate and pass legislation. The composition of the assembly is required to have an equal split of Ledins and Trondians. Members are nominated by LPAs and mass organizations.

Economy

The economy of Trondoledina can be characterized as a mixed planned economy. The vast majority of economic activity occurs in state-owned enterprises that are controlled by regular five-year plans. These plans outline goals for heavy industry, agricultural goods, and some consumer products. Other activity occurs in worker owned enterprises which specialize in most consumer products and engage in limited market activity. Small private businesses also exist but are subjected to many restrictions, incentivizing conversion towards worker co-operatives.
