History

Having championed the cause of the Warring Islanders relocated to Samhold by the Treaty of Chryse, Mondo recognised that the long-term success of the resettlement plan depended upon the development of a sustainable local economy. Concerned that not enough was being done to stimulate job creation, on 8.XV.1716 AN Mondo pledged his personal financial support, promising to match the public budget for the following year out of his own considerable resources. The following week, Samhold Investments was founded to coordinate his economic activities on the island.
