The Lega B Vegnese, currently named Cantorunno Lega B for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division in the Vegnese football league system after the Lega A. It will be operating from the next season: the 2022-23. It is organized by the Federazione Calcistica Vegnese. Common nicknames for the league are campionato cadetto and cadetteria, since cadetto is the Vegnian name for junior or cadet.
Competition format
The Lega B regular season typically starts in late September to May with each team playing the others 2 times. Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw and are ranked by total points, then direct confrontation, then goal difference, and then goals scored.
