It founded in 1608 by the Princely Lichgravine of Highpass, Octavia, but is since Highpass's independence awarded by the Sovereign Count of Highpass. The Ceremonimaasterkontoor of the Comital House makes recommendations each year to the Count, which he is not obliged to follow. The order is divided into three classes, and also awards two medals. His Highness Oze IV serves as the Grand Master of the Order, and Lord Lasse Jaas Ozymandias as its Chancellor.
