Jack Smith is a Walker footballer who currently plays for FK Tiga. Although he was born in Dyas in Senya, Jack Smith plays internationally for the Walker Democracy, the country from which his parents come from. In 2012, aged 16, Smith joined FK Tiga on a year contract.
Personal Life
Smith was born on 22 June 1996 in Dyas to Martin & Lucy Smith, two Walker immigrants who had settled in Senya. Jack started playing football at the age of 6, for a local junior team known as Borwn Bears. During this time, he played in goal, despite Smith hating the position. At the age of 8, he and his family moved to Tiga, where he joined a new team called Roztas, where he became a striker. He was concidered a promising talent, however he was subject to abuse from the other players about his Walker background. In September 2006, aged 10, Smith was abducted walking home from school. He was held hostage by an armed drug group in Shireroth for 15 days, before being rescued by Shirerothian police. After this, Jack and his family moved to Walker, and Smith became fascinated by his heritage. He returned to Tiga in 2009 aged 13, and went to school for the first time in 3 years. He struggled to make friends, and his footballing ability deteriorated. In January 2010, Smith attempted to commit suicide by jumping infront of a car outside of his house, but he only recieved minor bruses. He was taken out of school after this, and started to become a recluse. In May 2012, Jack was finally convinced to visit a Youth Centre for under-18's who had troubled lives, and they re-introduced him to football. In June 2012, Jack over-heard two men talking about trials for a Senyan Professional League team were coming up, and suprised everybody by applying for it. He was bullied by fellow applicants, but during a selection game, he shone up front, and people began to notice his talent. He was offered a professional contract by FK Tiga that day, which he agreed to later that week. On June 16, Jack was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. Jack lives with his parents, and says that he dosen't want to leave them.
Hobbies
Jack is obsessed by Football and the Walker Democracy. He loves both of them, and in July 2012 stated in an interview with Senya TV "I'd love to play for Walker Democracy. That is my dream. Too much in my life has gone wrong here in Senya, and I feel more at home in Walker".
